(an excerpt from pg. 1)
This curriculum is written to the teacher so you can walk alongside your student as they go through the process of writing a playscript. The first few lessons are specially designed to be interactive, but older students can break off on their own if desired after that. Keeping in mind that they will still need someone to look at their work and encourage them along the way. Yes, you as the teacher can write your own script just like me!
If you have a student in upper elementary that’s excited about writing a play, you can have them complete the first seven lessons. This format allows them to create, but not feel overwhelmed with a bigger project. Of course, you know your student best.
You and your student have permission to use the portions of the scripts given as examples in this edition for your own plays. Please keep in mind that this curriculum is protected under copyright and should not be shared with others. Please send someone interested in this drama curriculum to homeschooldrama.com so they can purchase and download their own copy. Thank you!
Hope you enjoy watching your students be inspired to create.
