(an excerpt from pg. 1)
This drama curriculum is created to be flexible. We've enjoyed these at home and in a classroom setting.
Because most activities can be done spontaneously, you can “just add drama” and change things up anytime you want. You will find you can use these drama activities over and over again throughout the years and with many different ages.
There is a drama game to go with each activity. Sometimes the activity will reference the drama game or use skills or materials used in the drama game, so you can use that as a guide to how you’ll use the game with the activity. (Portions of games are taken from Places Everyone! drama game curriculum.)
If you only have a little time to add drama, you could choose a game and activity once a month or randomly throughout the year.
Most importantly, have fun! Kids will find that they enjoy learning so much more when they are allowed to be creative in what they are writing and presenting, plus they learn teamwork and enjoy developing community along the way.
Enjoy!
