NOTE FROM THE PLAYWRIGHT
My students have practiced, memorized lines, and performed this short 30-minute play in as little as six weeks working mainly on their own since we only met for class once a week and spent that time discussing the storyline. These high school juniors did a wonderful job and took full responsibility for all aspects of the performance and performed in front of the other middle school and high school families at our homeschool co-op. This play can take a full semester if you want to bring more depth to the characters, create more costumes, props and scenery, and give the actors more time to practice together.
